                                                             The fault in Our Stars J.E 3

                            In chapter three Hazel goes to school and to the mall with her friend Kailtlyn. Sh is also reading a book she's interested in. My favorite quote in this chapter is when the little girl questions Hazels breathing tube and Hazel says , " No, No It's okay". She is very friendly and nice. She is aware of her cancer and she does not react negatively to people curious about her conditions. She also did not take it personal.It seems hard to deal with. If I was hazel and had to deal with the endless stares and questions I would be irritated. I also like how interested Hazel is when reading good books. She could read about someone else's life instead of facing her own not so perfect life. I am also curios about how social Hazel is. When she goes to the mall with her friend Kaitlyn she does not seem like she's happy to see her. It shocked me when she did not tell her friend about Agustus and there bond because usually when you get a new boyfriend or crush you are overwhelmed to call a friend and tell them all about it. Hazel instead did not tell her friend Kaitlyn which was surprising.

                                                           The Fault In Our Stars J.E 2

                         My favorite quote was when Agustus say's " Don't become one of those people who become there disease." I like this because Hazel seems like one of those people who is becoming there disease and needs a little bit of hope. It's also brave for Agustus to tell her that to her face. He seems close enough to her to admit that. Most people would say that behind your back. I can relate to this because sometimes I have a lot to say about somebody but I don't want to say It because i do not want to hurt any ones feelings. Agustus is very brave to say that. I also liked when Hazel says ,"I could feel his muscle right beneath the skin , all tense and amazing." It seems kind of creepy but I thinks It's cute how she adores him , and has a crush on him. She finally has something to take her mind off of cancer and being sick. To me the only time Hazel Grace is not being rude,sarcastic, and hope-less is when she is reading or with Agustus Waters. I also wonder how A male author can communicate this story like a teenage girl so well. He makes us relate to Hazel Grace in a odd way. I think her relationship with Agustus waters may help her through hard times when she is really sick , or just having A hard time in general. I predict Hazel and Agustus  will become boyfriend and girlfriend by the time the book is finish.

                                                 The Fault In Our Stars J.E 1

                 My least favorite line in chapter one is when Hazel says ,"I don;t want to take the elevator because taking the elevator is a last day activity." I don't like this because the thought being deceased is sad. I feel bad they actually have to go through and think about these things. The last day symbolizes death and she does not even feel comfortable to do something we do without thought , without thinking about death. Those are things regular teenagers do without a second thought. I like when A.W takes out a cigarette and Puts it in his mouth and then Hazel looks at him as if he does something wrong. and then Agustus says confidently , "They do not kill you unless you light them." I like this quote because Agustus Waters is taking control of his own life. He cannot do this with cancer that much because you never know with cancer. It could kill you at any given moment. With the cigarette he can control if he smokes it or if he does not smoke the cigarette. This quote gives you hope even of you aren't in there situation. Agustus is a good role model for Hazel. He has a unique view on life. He thinks about the good in things and not the bad in things. They could help one another as a couple. When Hazel is going through hard times , Agustus Waters will be there to help and give her hope. From reading the book she seems very sarcastic and has a sort of negative personality. Agustus personality is very different than Hazel's personality.But I think there personality's will go good together in a good way.
